Tournament of the Golden Swan
The 2024 Tournament of the Golden Swan will be held at the Old Grist Mill and Gardens in Keremeos, 2691 Upper Bench Road, Keremeos, BC.
This has been a well-known Heritage Site and tourist attraction for decades, and is on Google Maps.
The site opens Friday afternoon. Tent camping is available within the event site, and there is also a campground attached to the main site.
There will be a catered feast Saturday evening, $25 per person. Details TBA.
The site will be open to tourists during the day, and there are lunches and snacks available for sale in the Visitor Centre. There are also lovely jams, jellies and condiments for sale, along with books about the area and hand-made artisan items.You're aso welcome to bring your own food on-site. There will be a potluck feast on Sunday evening.
Site fee is $25 per adult (over 18) members, $35 for non-members of the SCA. Under 18 is free.
There are motels, restaurants, grocery stores and liquor outlets in the town of Keremeos, as well as in Penticton and Osoyoos (about 45 minutes drive to each).
Breakfasts will be availble by donation (oatmeal and applesauce) usually around 8 am. Opening Assembly on Saturday will be at 9:30 am.
We have a candidate this year, so this is a chance for everyone to be on their best medieval behaviour while judging is in session (from Opening assembly on Saturday to the final Judges Conclave on Sunday).
